Munich Beer on the Fly in Munich

Restaurants, kiosks and even a brewery: that’s what you can find in one of the most modern airport in Europe.

Munich Airport belongs to one of the largest and most attractive traffic points in Germany. International passengers come here not only because of its modern facilities, but also of the large range of culinary delicacies it has to offer.

The Bavarian capital’s airport it is one of the most modern airports in Europe and would – if there were no limits – expand permanently. This of course attracts many international passengers and they want to be fed. Fortunately they do not have to leave the airport because it offers something for everyone’s taste – from Asian cuisine to small snacks: no one should go hungry here.

What most do not know: Munich Airport is one of the few airports with its own brewery. In theAirbräuyou can have lunch next to a few copper brew pots. The menu includes three standard varieties and five seasonal beers, which can be enjoyed in the cosy premises and the spacious beer garden. Good to know that you will not get wet even in the rain, as the beer garden is located under the large roof of the Munich Airport Centre (MAC). Typical Bavarian dishes are offered both inside and outside. One recommendation: Allgäuer Zwiebelrostbraten with brown sauce and homemade noodles for €15.90.

Don’t miss the flight!

Yes, the Munich airport is inviting, but unfortunately most of the guests are only on a stopover and can only enjoy the pleasant comforts for a short time… And the holiday should begin at the airport. This feeling is conveyed atCloud 7in its very own way, especially with its hard-to-top panorama from the terrace, giving you a direct view of the runway. Visitors can expect super salads, great lunch dishes and homemade crepes. My recommendation: Ice cream from the manufactory Eisbayer.

If you want to spend a night from Saturday to Sunday at the airport and start the next day with a great brunch, you should go to Charles Lindbergh. The restaurant is in the Hilton near the Munich Airport Centre. It is, however, recommended to make a reservation. What awaits the guest? For 46 euros per person (without beverages), a rich buffet is served, satisfying all your taste buds.

45 minutes The airport is about 45 minutes from Munich’s city center away and very well accessible by public transport.
Shops Accessorize, Bobby Brown, Bally, Bottega Veneta and many brands have a shop here. There is also a supermarket.
